New delivery and payment options, an expanded customer management module, an audit log and a range of improvements that speed up day-to-day operations are just some of the updates we’ve rolled out. Below you’ll find the most important ones. All of them are already live in cairo.B2C.
Sales & delivery
✅ Pocztex pickup points and parcel lockers
Your customers can now choose delivery to a Poczta Polska Pocztex pickup point or parcel locker. More convenient delivery options mean lower cart abandonment.
Customers select their point on the official Poczta Polska map, which opens directly at checkout. The pickup point details are saved to the order automatically, so there’s no manual re-entry and no risk of errors. You can enable this shipping method in your store configuration.
✅ The right mobile keyboard for every field
On smartphones, every field now opens a keyboard matched to its input type. Forms in the storefront and the admin panel are faster to fill in, with fewer typos:
- numeric phone keypad for phone numbers,
- digits only for Polish postcodes and quantity fields,
- keyboard with the @ key for email addresses,
- decimal keypad in price filters,
- a “Search” button in search boxes,
- a date picker instead of a keyboard for date fields.
Fields that may contain letters, such as tax ID (NIP), VIN, house number or international postcodes, intentionally keep the full keyboard.
Payments
✅ Axepta payment gateway
cairo.B2C now integrates with the Axepta payment gateway. It’s another online payment method that lets more customers pay the way they’re used to and complete checkout without friction, which supports your conversion rate.
Customers & orders in the admin panel
✅ New “Customers” section
All your store’s customers are now in one place, with key metrics visible at a glance and no need to build reports. A KPI bar above the list shows new accounts today, customers active in the last 30 days, abandoned carts, and total and average cart value.
You can find a specific customer in seconds by searching by email, phone number, full name, tax ID (NIP) or order number. Filters by activity, order value and consents help you build segments, such as your top customers or a target audience for a campaign. Access to the list is granted through a dedicated permission.
✅ Customer profile
Everything about a customer is on a single screen: contact details, customer type (B2C or B2B), registration date and last login. The profile also shows customer activity, including number of orders, average order value, last purchase and abandoned cart, as well as consents with their status.
You can add an admin note to the profile and edit it inline, without reloading the page. One click takes you to all of the customer’s orders.
✅ Guest customer list
Customers who check out without creating an account now have their own list, accessible from a separate link in the menu. It works just like the other modern list views in the admin panel.
✅ Cart list
The orders section now includes a new “Carts” view. You can filter carts by customer type, status and whether the customer left contact details. That last filter instantly surfaces carts where you can reach out to the customer and encourage them to complete the purchase. Cart details open in a preview.
✅ Faster, more reliable CSV export
Order and customer exports now run in the background, so even very large reports are generated without interruption. Prices, amounts, weights and dates in the file use the same format as in the admin panel. When exporting by filters, all selected filter values are applied, not just the last one.
✅ Order search by email address
The “Customer” filter on the order list now also suggests email addresses. You can combine several values at once, such as full name and email.
✅ Refreshed admin panel UI
The order details view has a more modern, cleaner layout. The administrator list has also been redesigned to match the other list views in the panel.
Administration & security
✅ Audit log
The admin panel now records a change history for key areas of your store, including who made each change and from which IP address. This makes it easy to see who changed what, and when. The audit log covers:
- payments,
- shipping methods and rates,
- plugins,
- CMS articles.
Each entry has its own detail page with a shareable link. The “Shipping & payment” tab now tracks more events and has a new look, with stored data shown in a readable format instead of raw technical output.
✅ Faster order list
Bulk refreshing of orders is now faster, as data is fetched in a single batch rather than separately for each order.
Performance & infrastructure
✅ Product images in WebP only
Product images are now stored exclusively in the modern WebP format, supported by all current browsers. Dropping the additional JPG copies reduces the number of stored files and frees up server storage.
